Legal Considerations When Scaling Your Business

An entrepreneur starts a company with an idea, then the company is propelled forward through its business relationships. In the law, these two elements of business are guided by two different branches: Intellectual Property and Contracts. This is a three-hour course designed to give a practical overview of contracts, intellectual property, and how these two branches of law interplay for entrepreneurs. Attendees will become aware of many of the issues they will confront in both protecting their ideas and managing their relationships, and they will learn what questions to ask when seeking legal counsel in contracts and intellectual property matters.
