Phoebe Journal Reading
Description
Join phoebe literary journal for a reading from a select group of recently published writers. Jocelyn Johnson will read from her upcoming debut collection, My Monticello, five short stories and a novella all set in Virginia. Phoebe’s 2020 Nonfiction award winner, Kira Homsher, will read from her work, which has also garnered her a Shirly Jackson award nomination. 2021 is shaping up to be a great year for poet Irene Cooper with the release of not only a collection of poetry but also a speculative spyfy novel. Finally, continuing phoebe’s 50th-anniversary celebration, special guest Bradley Bazzle will return to read from his upcoming collection, Fathers of Cambodian Time-Travel Science, due in October from C&R Press.
